I've been told I'm nuts warning this post is out of order

Now the spooky. I am working on a tree he has a pumpkin on his head and will be holding a jol bucket. The Witch, well I am not sure where she's headed. The pumpkin balloon ornament is a new design and he will have some friends soon.

Now moving on to the nuts, acorn nuts that is. Their caps are real and they are really silly. I have special plans for them so stay tuned!

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday! I am currently caught between two holidays. Easter and Halloween. I am not making too many Springy things, but here is a few I have in the works. I have a couple egg head clothes pins, a shamrock and a little blue capped mushroom ornament. The other fellow is a reverse psychology egg man. More about him later.

My Favorite Valentines

I am so lucky! My boys know how much I love Halloween, so they made these for me for Valentine's Day. The heart with the jol face says it all!

Snowman and bunny

I just finished these two. I know Christmas is over but  I felt like finishing this snowman. Bunny is not an ornament he just sits or hops. He's aged and worn looking. I was wondering all you artists out there what do you used for aging an item? I just used watered down brown paint.
I hope to get a few more springy things finished. I am also working on Halloween again. Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday!

Lost Toys and a Shroom

I am trying something a little new. The elephant and bunny are more aged. I was going for the out of the attic lost toys look. What do you think?
I manged to finish another shroom. I'm working on a few other colors. Have a great Sunday!

Where the Swamp Witch Grows

There is a swamp that know.
And it is said that is where the Swamp Witch grows.
Where they throw the Halloween Jack O' Lanterns after they
turn black and start to rot.
They rot away and decay
until all that is left is the stem.
A Halloween memory and that is all that you've got.
It is said from the stem that
the Swamp Witch grows.
Those that have seen her emerge
head first went missing.
Rumor has it that they disappeared.
Where to nobody knows!

My friend Suzie sent me a whole box of pumpkin stems. I thought of making weird and twisted creatures. But, what popped into my head was the tale of the Swamp Witch. I could write a whole creepy story about them. Maybe I will stay tuned. More Swamp Witches to come.
